Workbond requirements

THERE IS NO WORKBOND FOR FALL BALL

2025 
Upon registration you will be given an option to Opt out of work bond and pay a $100 fee at check out.  If you decide to Opt in to complete your work bond hours you will be required to provide a check for $150 made out to SWS Baseball that will be held and not cashed until July 1st if you do not complete your hours.  Once you complete your hours the check will be handed back to you.  

Managers
- Are not obligated to perform any Work Bond hours, but are obligated (with their coaches) to rake the field and make sure dugouts are clean upon leaving the premises. Also managers are responsible for end of the year player ratings.  Managers will be provided an equipment bag at the start of the season that must be returned in good working order with all equipment returned. Failure in completing these tasks could lead to forfeit of work bond. 

Coaches
- Are not obligated to perform any Work Bond hours, but are obligated (with their managers) to rake the field and make sure dugouts are clean upon leaving the premises.

Non-Manage/Coach 
- Families are required to complete 9 total hours of volunteer work to receive their work bond back. 
- Please ensure any hours are recorded by a board member in the concession stand. 

There are various opportunities throughout the season to volunteer.
- Manage
- Coach
- Work the concession stand
- Pre-season field maintenance
- Complex clean up
- End of season complex closing 
- etc.
